About project
Our collaboration with FCG Energy focused entirely on designing and developing a specialized photovoltaic installation configurator. The goal was to provide industry professionals with a robust tool to plan, customize, and calculate solar setups efficiently. Instead of a full platform overhaul, we concentrated on delivering a high-performance module that simplifies complex technical planning. By creating an intuitive interface for advanced calculations, we built a solution that streamlines the workflow of B2B clients, allowing them to construct precise installations and generate accurate hardware lists with ease.

Live product summary
We implemented a dynamic summary section that updates in real-time as the user adjusts the setup. This ensures professionals always have an accurate, up-to-date list of required components based on their current configuration.
Full configuration personalization
The tool allows for deep customization of the solar installation. Users can precisely define technical details, ranging from the specific number of modules in a single row to their exact physical arrangement on the mounting surface.
Built for scalability
We engineered the module with a flexible architecture, ensuring it is fully prepared for future expansion. This forward-thinking approach allows for seamless integration of new features or product categories as the market evolves.
Save as client offer
To support the sales process of B2B users, we added a feature that allows the final configuration to be saved as a formal offer. This enables professionals to easily export and present precise technical proposals directly to their end customers.
Native IdoSell integration
The entire configurator was developed using the default functionalities of the IdoSell system. This ensures full compatibility with the store's core engine, providing stability and ease of management without the need for external, non-standard solutions.
